Terms of Service

By agreeing to these Terms of Service and submitting your payment, the Client (you) are entering into a contract with the Vendor (GigGopher, us, we, etc.)

Length of Service: Your length of service was set upon account sign up, with the option to have the service automatically renewed.

Early Cancellation: If you wish to cancel services, you must submit your request to us, including reason for cancellation. When your current subscription expires, your account will become inactive. If your service plan is set to automatically renew, you must log into your PayPal account and end your subscription.

Subscription Fee: GigGopher reserves the right to adjust the subscription fees at any time for all future clients and renewals. If a rate adjustment occurs during your subscription, you will not be charged the new rate until your account is renewed.

Refunds: GigGopher does not offer refunds. All sales are final, and your account will continue to be active until your subscription runs out.

Upgrades / Downgrades: You may upgrade or downgrade their plan at any time. When upgrading, the difference will be charged via PayPal. When downgrading, the difference will be converted into extra days on your downgraded plan.

E-Mails: GigGopher uses e-mail as the sole means of communication with you, so be sure that your account is active and that you check it regularly. You will be notified when your subscription is in need of renewal.

Phone Support: We cannot offer phone support to our customers at this time, but offer prompt replies via e-mail and our Contact form.

Error Messages: While we regularly check our services and site pages, if you should receive any error messages from GigGopher or PayPal, please forward them to us for evaluation. In many cases, your feedback is our only tool for troubleshooting and solving problems.

Passwords: Your account password is encrypted, which means even the GigGopher administrators cannot access your account. This also means that we can't give you your password if you forget it; but we can issue you a new temporary password to the account's registered e-mail address. GigGopher is not responsible for unauthorized access due to a member's carelessness with their password.

Security of Information: Your gig information is strictly confidential, and is stored using current secure data standards, ensuring that only you have access to your gig information.

Session Length: It is every member's responsibility to select an appropriate session length upon login. The more public the computer, the shorter your session length should be. If on a public computer, such as at a library or internet cafe, always log out before leaving the computer. GigGopher is not responsible for unauthorized access due to a member's session being set too long.

Backups: Once logged into your account, you will have the ability to export all of your gig information in spreadsheet form, for your records and backup. The entire GigGopher site, including the gig information of its members, is backed up weekly to secure servers. GigGopher's hosting provider has a 99.9% uptime guarantee, and utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and security standards.

 

GigGopher reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service as needed, and will submit any changes to members via e-mail in advance.
